Appointments
Patients are seen by appointment only. With the exception of CERF examinations, we will only see patients who have been referred by the family veterinarian. We do not perform a standard, routine examination for all animals but rather tailor the examination to the patient’s symptoms and ocular findings. The initial examination includes time for a medical history, an ocular examination, and discussion about the diagnosis and prognosis, along with diagnostic and therapeutic options. The first examination usually takes 30 minutes but may take longer if other specialized procedures are required. The vast majority of diagnostics and treatment can be performed on an outpatient basis. Except for emergencies, animals requiring surgery will be scheduled for surgery on a different day. Please bring all drugs that have been prescribed for the eyes, along with a list of medications being used for other conditions.
